Jing & Rou (Muscle & Tendon)

Qigong to Develop the Yang Energy Body
For Strength, Protection & Internal Peace

(Completion of level 1 required) Yi Ren® Qigong

Bagwa Style Movement

The practices in this course are designed to develop the strength of our physical body. The internal power of Jing and Rou will be our focus. The  power of Jing is a dynamic current in the body that can be developed by integrating our Qi with the force of the muscles. The power of Rou is the strength of our tendons, which can be developed by integrating our Qi with the nature of the tendons. These practices will help us to experience the springiness and flexibility of both the muscles and the tendons.

We will work with the Qi we have already activated in our Qigong practice and focus on strengthening the container. Our purpose is two-fold: to enhance the robustness of the body, and to balance the sensitivity that comes of opening the energy field by programming a dynamic spiraling defensive energy field around the body.
